Meet Your Trainer

Reanna has completed Positive Animal Training: the Science of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Dalhousie University and is a graduate of the distinguished Karen Pryor Academy achieving her KPA (Karen Pryor Academy) CTP (Certified Training Partner).  She is a multi-credentialed Dog Trainer and holds certificates through The Fearful Dogs Project mastercourse as a Certified Fearful Dog Professional (CFDP), Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and is also a Service Dog Coach completing her program with Cooperative Paws providing training for owner-trained service dog teams. Her most recent achievement was completing the Aggression in Dogs Mastercourse with world renowned aggression expert Michael Shikashio, CDBC. 

She practices positive based training methods with all animals from her pet bird, her cat and dog.  Reanna is a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild, the association for force-free pet professionals.

Reanna has volunteered her time as a dog attendant at a no-kill animal shelter, a wildlife transporter and a feed volunteer at a farm sanctuary. She has gained tremendous experience and knowledge from these opportunities all of which helped her to realize her dream of working with animals.

Her current animals are a 12-year-old Green Cheek Conure named Zane who she’s had since he was an eight week old baby, a rescue dog, Amelia, from Texas she adopted in April 2018.  Her most recent addition is Roux, a saucy 3 year old black and white domestic shorthair cat she adopted as a companion for Amelia.

Trizane is a combination of her dog’s name, Trina, who sadly passed away in March 2018 and her bird’s name, Zane.
