Meet Your Trainer

Reanna has completed Positive Animal Training: the Science of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Dalhousie University and is a graduate of the distinguished Karen Pryor Academy achieving her KPA (Karen Pryor Academy) CTP (Certified Training Partner).  She is a multi-credentialed Dog Trainer and holds certificates through The Fearful Dogs Project mastercourse as a Certified Fearful Dog Professional (CFDP), Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and is also a Service Dog Coach completing her program with Cooperative Paws providing training for owner-trained service dog teams. Her most recent achievement was completing the Aggression in Dogs Mastercourse with world renowned aggression expert Michael Shikashio, CDBC.

Her approach is always rooted in positive, science-based methods — whether working with her own pets or supporting clients. Reanna is a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild, an organization dedicated to force-free, fear-free training for all animals.

Beyond formal training, Reanna has gained invaluable experience volunteering as a dog attendant at a no-kill shelter, transporting injured wildlife, and helping at a farm sanctuary. These experiences shaped her commitment to understanding animals’ needs and inspired her to create Trizane Dog Services.

At home, she shares life with Amelia, her rescue dog from Texas; Roux, a spirited tuxedo cat; Parker, a sweet tabby found in a garden; and Zane, her green cheek conure who has been with her since he was eight weeks old. The name Trizane honours two beloved companions who shaped her journey — her late dog Trina and her bird Zane.
